For many thousand years
we’ve been standing in this place
looking at one another
in a solid state of grace.
We did not come here
of our own volition
moved by some glacier
or uncovered by attrition
No our journey here
was of another kind
brought by humans
with something on their mind
To celebrate the passing
of time in its season
they are long gone now
but this was probably their reason.
