Stoned concretions 

from swirling sands

built with effort

but not by our hands.

 

Now as balls

upon the beach

we come before

some human’s reach.

 

Carried off now

to be a part

of some garden

or maybe even “art.”

 

This picture here

is all that’s left

beauty once shared

the beach now bereft.
