Out on the spit

in the noon day sun

the stars set out

to have some fun.

 

Colours so diverse

and for what reason

can it be advantageous 

or is it the season.

 

The purple it seems 

are from protected seas

where calmer waters

give more ease.

 

But out by the ocean

the red takes over

who knows why

ours to discover.

 

Now orange is everywhere

how can that be

for after all

the’re  all in the sea.
